Rae Jones is the footwear label from shoe trend specialist and textile designer Rachel Jones. Hers is a story of poacher turned gamekeeper that of an expert in predicting the shoe styles of future seasons putting that insiders knowledge into her own designs.

With nearly a decades experience forecasting key trends for the international fashion footwear industry, Jones felt it was time to use that extensive insight to create her own slick yet eclectic footwear brand. And to provide the market with what it has most lacked.

Jones wanted to prove that wearable can still be interesting. And while she is inspired by the inventiveness of iconic 1940s shoe designers Beth and Herbert Levine, she is passionate about creating what is too often hard to find in footwear style that is accessible day to day, without sacrificing distinction.

“Consumers are very fashion savvy these days. My shoes are designed in response to that confidence – beautiful and wearable shoes made with longevity in mind”, she explains. “I want women to have quality shoes that they can wear again and again, with much of their wardrobe – shoes that they really feel a connection to.”

Unusual materials and juxtaposition is a Rae Jones signature: tumbled grains and high shine leathers with suede, together with sophisticated colour combinations. Styles show a nod to history in their details but avoid easy pigeon-holing as vintage inspired.

Rae Jones shoes are made in Portugal from high grade Italian leathers.
